I’m really beginning to “feel” these characters the more the story progresses. The initial likeable George Leroy is showing his true colors and seem to point to the “root” of the problem more and more – his pride, and his unwillingness to accept responsibility for his own actions. Perhaps the strength of character Marlene is developing … and the sauciness I detect in Sunny’s conversations with her dad – is an omen of what is to come, as a family, but more importantly individually. Looking forward to what comes next!!
